Synopsis:

 

The focus of my employment, education, training, and activities has been in the design, development, and implementation of total business systems.  These systems have provided instruction for personnel, the establishment of levels of management expectation for performance, and product predictability.

Significant contributions have been made to the corporate posture and viability of regulated manufacturing companies, through the applications of systems management.

 

Employment History:

 

1997-Present

 

President of Nomer Premier International Corp. Limited, a Cayman Island corporation conducting international pharmaceutical sales primarily in the Middle East.

The management group also has three partners from Saudi Arabia who concentrate on generating business in the target area.

 

1987-Present

 

President of Premier International Marketing, Inc., an export trading, management, and consulting company. The company operates worldwide with focus on the medical-health care area with emphasis on pharmaceuticals.International sales conducted through a network of agents in over twenty countries, coupled with personal management experience in medical device manufacturing, provides a unique perspective to the business.

 

1980-1987

 

General Manager for Baxter-Edwards Division facility in Austin, Texas (Hemex Scientific, Inc. was purchased by Baxter-Edwards in December, 1986).

Responsible for all operations including manufacturing, finance, sales and marketing, engineering, and quality assurance.Operation had approximately fifty people engaged in manufacturing heart valves for replacement in open-heart surgery, and was serviced by a worldwide network of independent distributors.

Senior Executive Vice President for Hemex Scientific, Inc.As chief operating officer for this manufacturer of heart valves and cardiovascular medical devices, there was extensive involvement in the formulation of business plans; establishment of manufacturing facilities; establishment of a management team; hiring key personnel; assisting in preparation and coordination of animal and human clinical trial investigations; establishment of sales, marketing, and financial plans; and negotiation and contract formulation with independent distributors worldwide.Extensive travels in USA and overseas to train distributors, exhibit at scientific symposia, and gather competitive information to formulate marketing plans.Involved in this startup operation, which grew to ten million dollars in sales, as a management member and investor.

 

1971-1980

 

Director of Quality Assurance for Shiley, Inc. (division of Pfizer, Inc.), a manufacturer of heart valves and other medical devices in the cardiovascular and respiratory areas.Working with a young management team, this company grew to forty million dollars in sales worldwide in less than ten years.Extensive involvement in total quality business systems, which included the development of material, process, quality, and product specifications.Policies were also prepared for vendor selection, product complaint analysis, sterilization processing, material review board, and sterility testing of products.

 

1971

 

Director of Quality Assurance for Medical Supply Co., a manufacturer of industrial first aids products.Total operational testing responsibility and involvement with U.S. government inspection authorities.

 

1965-1971

 

Manager of Quality Assurance for Johnson and Johnson, a worldwide manufacturer of health care products.All phases of manufacturing inspection and testing.Responsibilities included budget setting, college recruitment, and defining departmental goals and objectives.

 

1963-1965

 

Assistant Supervisor of Quality Control for the Crosse and Blackwell Company, a division of the Nestle Company.This diverse operation produced a variety of food specialties.Responsibilities included supervision of the inspection function, and design of test methods.

 

Education:

Received Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Roosevelt University of Chicago, Illinois, in June 1963.

 

Two years attendance at Western State University, College of Law, with courses in Contracts, Income Taxation, etc.

 

Legal seminars in Business Law, Products Liability, Food and Drug Law, etc., through the Orange County Trail Lawyers Association and the Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Lawyers Association.

Current Community Involvement:

 

-Volunteer for the past six years in the emergency room of a trauma center at Brackenridge Hospital located in Texas.

-Member Board of Ethics Committee for Brackenridge Hospital.
